The Elephant Conservation Center takes you to the elephants instead of taking them to you. Come and meet them in their natural environment. It’s hard not to be intrigued while observing them from one of our platforms in the socialisation area, or seeing them bathe freely in the lake.

You don’t have to take our word for it, but do take some time to listen to what other visitors have to say about the experience.

We are always proud to welcome interested, enthusiastic and passionate guests. Thank you for your visit !

Some written testimonials (source: Trip Advisor):

It takes only one person to stand up and say he/she will make a difference and then it takes many people to make that dream come true. The Elephant Conservation Centre is another example of dreams, visions, and action. The staff are all passionate and dedicated in their execution of having free and happy elephants who can be real elephants after years being chained up. The ultimate goal being an increase in wild elephants in a well protected environment. The centre is simple in its accommodation and facilities (very clean!) but is filled with warmth and friendliness of the people who host us. The food is tasty and very fresh. It is a place where you learn to ‘be’ rather than to ‘do’. In our fast ,lived lives we rarely give ourselves the opportunity to just sit, observe, experience nature’s gifts. And in doing so we contribute to an inspiring project. All the people working there are knowledgeable and share this with the guests. Once you know that elephants are almost always overworked, overloaded and underfed due to the very long hours in the tourism industry, I am sure you will chose to stay here and ‘feel’ the giants instead of ‘riding’ them. I wish the Centre all the good luck and success. It has healed my soul staying with you. Thank you all.

We stayed only for two days at the center and we get such a good view about their very important work and about the life of this wonderful animal, the Elephant, that it was a great pleasure for us to get in touch with the center. This kind of project should spread all over our world, that all the wild animals, who are suffering by human beings can be resocialised and come back to their original character! I’m really grateful, that I could make this experiences in the Elephant Conservation Center and I want to say thank you again to the very lovely and heart full hosting and the nice atmosphere in the Center! Thanks so much…
