All muscle and hair

img_5554For two months now Xang Noy has been eating small amounts of banana, corn and leaves. His diet is changing. This baby is growing! Of course he continues to drink his favorite beverage: Mom's milk!

He will still suckle for another 2 to 3 years. Loung Phaseut, his mahout is very attentive with him. Every day he peels some bananas, and gives him cooked corn to avoid damaging his small molars that are just showing through. At birth, elephants are covered in hair that they will later lose. Noy is particularly hairy elephant! His coat is not thick, rather soft, down like... but be careful he is not a toy! He is starting to be very strong, and when a small load of 250 kg runs at you, believe me you do not stand around!
